Rockwell History
Rockwell Management Corp. was founded in 1994 by Etan Mirwis. Etan acquired and consolidated the assets of two property management firms: Garden Property Management of Texas and Garden National Properties of New Jersey. Rockwell began to grow immediately sustaining 17 base properties by the end of the millennium. In 2001, Rockwell made a move to separate from it’s New Jersey branch in order to focus on the Houston Market. Rockwell’s Commercial Division took off in 2002 acquiring 2 premier office buildings in the Galleria district.
Today, Rockwell has evolved into a leading property management firm. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Rockwell currently manages more than 22 properties comprised of approximately 5,500 multifamily apartments and six commercial office buildings located throughout the greater Houston area. As reported in the Houston Business Journal’s 2013 Book of Lists, Rockwell ranked as the twelfth largest residential property management firms in the greater Houston area.
